Event Details

Thomas J. Webb, a George Mason University alumnus, has been CMS Energy's and Consumers Energy's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since August 2002. In addition, he is the Chairman of the Board of EnerBank USA, a nationwide bank.  He also is responsible for CMS Enterprises, all of CMS Energy's businesses outside of the Michigan Utility.

As a reminder, the Johnson & Strachan Distinguished Speaker Series is a community-based academic initiative that enriches the educational experience of the school’s students, faculty, and alumni while building and strengthening relationships with the region’s business community.

Focusing on finance issues, the Distinguished Speaker Series brings a diverse group of corporate leaders, government officials, and renowned academicians to George Mason’s Fairfax campus. These exceptional speakers discuss the strategic and operational issues critical to the nation’s ability to sustain and enhance its competitive edge in a global economy. Their ideas and solutions will benefit students, faculty, and the community by offering insight and fostering provocative discussion.
